This award honors Hitotsubashi students who have been recognized for their exceptional excellence. During the 2015 summer and winter semesters, Takuya Asai and Natnicha Apichonkit achieved the best academic record at the Faculty of Economics among second- and third-year students respectively. Both received their Student Awards for Academic Excellence from Professor Koichi Tadenuma, President of Hitotsubashi University, along with 15 other outstanding students.

During the 2014 summer and winter semesters, Takuya Asai achieved the best academic record among first-year students at the Faculty of Economics. He received the Student Award for Academic Excellence from Professor Koichi Tadenuma, President of Hitotsubashi University, along with 13 other outstanding students.

 

President’s Award for Excellence (March 16, 2015)

Kiko ASAKAWA and Riku ONO, 2014 Global Leaders Class

This is awarded to outstanding students and student groups that excel in curricular or extracurricular activities. Hitotsubashi University’s team “Novelty”, consisting of three second-year students from the Faculty of Economics―Kiko Asakawa, Riku Ono, and Nana Furuta―won first prize for their English-language presentation on the theme of development and poverty at the Go Global Japan Regional Forum, held on December 6, 2014. The team members were honored by our University President for this outstanding achievement.
