» Study Abroad

As globalization proceeds, it becomes essential to have in-depth specialized knowledge and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication skills in English in order to play an active role in the international arena. In particular, it is important to possess the ability to efficiently exchange views with people of diverse cultural backgrounds, seek solutions to issues and engage in consensus building when trying to come up with new systems or problem-solving measures. Studying abroad will help you develop such skills and capabilities required for a global leader.

Hitotsubashi University has vigorously supported students with their overseas learning endeavors for many years. We provide opportunities for one-year study abroad at leading overseas universities to students selected via a special examination. Our program targets students in their third or fourth year, but we encourage prospective applicants to begin preparation at least one year in advance.
